My first images that tied experimenting I had collected an old book in an abandoned cellar which was dated from 1940 I wanted incorporated the writing from the book into my images, I had taken some of the pages from the book and scanned them after this I had opened them on to Photoshop, after this I selected some of my images and added the over the top of the written text in Photoshop once both of the image were overlaying each other I started to mess around with double exposure with both of the image I then edited my original image to the setting of ‘Hard light’ this then overlaid the writing enough without over powering the original image. I feel this setting was the best out come on both of these experimentations.

My second experimentation was inspired by my artist research of Stephen Gill, to create this image I had collected some flowers and flower petals. Once I had all of those collected I had printed out some of my images I thought would work the best, after this I had glued the parts of the image I wanted to place the petals after this I placed and scattered all of the flowers and flower petals to the bottom part of the image to enhance the perspective of the image similar to that of Stephen gill. Once the whole image was dry, I scanned the image. I feel these experimentations were successful because as well as being similar to my artist research, they do not over power the image and take the focus away from the rest of the image.
